MK1 RACER Open Water Swimming Wetsuit

The latest wetsuit in our popular MK1 series, is the MK1 RACER.

An entry-level competitive swim wetsuit , ideal for the novice triathlete or for the swimmer looking for a comfortable and unrestricted swimming experience. The new MK1 RACER features our optimal Blu Smooth design (found in all our wetsuits) and delivers great comfort, flexibility and buoyancy.

Buoyancy:

Buoyancy is delivered by a large chest panel and thigh panels constructed of  3mm, SCS coated Jako MSL 25 smoothskin neoprene.

All the seams on the MK1 RACER are stitched on the inside and glued on the outside. This, along with the water-repellant SCS coating on the neoprene, helps to minimize water intake.

Flexibility:

Excellent flexibility is achieved from the use of 1.5mm Jako MSL 25 Smoothskin neoprene on the crucial arm, shoulder and under arm panels. Combined with a super-stretch inner nylon lining these panels offer almost zero restriction to a swimmers arm movement.

The new  2mm “torso-flex” panels on the front groin area of the wetsuit enhances the suit’s overall flexibility.

Warmth and Comfort:

The body and leg panels of the wetsuit are lined with a new softer and smoother inner lining. The smooth feeling lining is not only more comfortable but also makes removing the wetsuit easier.

An exciting new feature on the MK1 RACER is a lower cut and softer collar; designed to significantly reduce chaffing.
