* What is Aerodome Neoprene?
Blu Smooth’s 5mm Aerodome Neoprene is constructed by sandwiching layers of Yamamoto #39 Neoprene with air pockets in the middle layer, resulting in a remarkable 30 percent increase in buoyancy compared to standard 5mm neoprene.

KEY FEATURES

Buoyancy

Maximum buoyancy is created by a large chest panel and thigh panels constructed of SCS coated, 5mm Yamamoto Aerodome fabric. Yamamoto Aerodome is a sandwiched neoprene that contains a perforated layer between two solid layers. This composition traps air inside little chambers which enhances buoyancy whilst reducing weight.

Flexibility

Extreme flexibility is achieved by the use of a light and flexible 1.5mm, SCS coated, Yamamoto #39 neoprene fabric for the crucial shoulder and under arm panels. Yamamoto #39 neoprene moulds comfortably to the contours of a swimmer’s shoulder creating a feeling of complete freedom of movement and minimal restriction. The addition of new “torso-flex” panels on the front hip area of the wetsuit and a super-stretch nylon inner lining in crucial flex areas further enhances the suit’s overall flexibility.

Warmth + Comfort

All the seams on the MK3 ELITE are stitched on the inside and glued on the outside to minimize water intake. The main body panels of the wetsuit are lined with a new softer and smoother inner lining which not only makes it more comfortable but also makes removing the suit easier. An exciting new feature of the MK3 ELITE is it’s lower cut and softer collar; designed to significantly reduce chaffing
